The mission of Residence Life is to create a safe residential environment, promote the development of meaningful relationships, and cultivate community responsibility.

Membership Benefits
The residence halls are designed to be places where students can learn and grow. The diversity of people, values, and lifestyles creates a dynamic environment where residents encounter new experiences that advance their educational development. The type of community development will depend primarily on how residents and other community members interact. The Residence Life staff is responsible for working with residents to promote a sense of community and foster meaningful relationships. A live-in Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) or Assistant Director of Residence Life (ADRL) oversees daily operations and the well-being of each hall. Professional staff and their hall staff of student Resident Assistants (RA) and Curricular Assistants (CAs) coordinate intentional programs and activities, serve as resource persons, and enforce the Student Code of Conduct when necessary.
